The 1948 Arab-Israeli War, referred to as the "War of Independence" (Hebrew: מלחמת העצמאות‎) or as the "War of Liberation" (Hebrew: מלחמת השחרור‎) by Israelis, is the first in a series of armed conflicts fought between Israel and its Arab neighbors in the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict. The Six-Day War (Arabic: حرب الأيام الستة, ħarb al‑ayyam as‑sitta ; Hebrew: מלחמת ששת הימים, Milhemet Sheshet Ha‑Yamim), also known as the 1967 Arab-Israeli War, the Third Arab-Israeli War, Six Days' War, an‑Naksah (The Setback), or the June War, was fought between Israel and its Arab neighbours of Egypt, Jordan, and Syria with Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Algeria contributing troops and arms to their fronts. However, there is someone who has the Highest authority over man to determine who lives there. That is our Lord God Almighty! The land was a promise to the Israelites by God to live there peacefully on his Holy Mountain Jerusalem. It was given to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob who was renamed Israel. I don't want to offend anyone with my feelings on who should control Jerusalem and West Bank. The entire West Bank and Jerusalem should always be in control by the Israelis as the Lord God promised in the Torah. Man's wars, nor the U.N. has any authority nor merit when it comes to the Word of God by Moses in the Torah. I apoligize to anyone who is offended by what I have to say concerning the Holy Mountain of Jerusalem which belongs to the Lord God Almighty.

Iranians Chant "Death to America"

On February 11, 2007 a video was released on www.Memritv.org transcipt #1385. This Satanic loving President who oppresses millions of his own people vowed to continue his "Nuclear Bombs" mission. According to transcipts, the crowd was chanting their famous slogan "Death to America". What makes this difficult for me is how many were co-erced to say this OR did this Satanic President of Iran threaten them with death if they didn't say this. It makes a person wonder since there has been no evidence that any citizen coming from Iran to live here in the United States has ever harmed, nor intends to harm anyone in the Land of the Free. I have great sympathy for the citizens still living there. They live under oppression with a force of rule.

May the Lord always guide his followers with pure love, one to another, so that we all can live in peace.

The Great Commandment

Mark 12:28-34

And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

And Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is One Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment". And the second is like, namely this, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself". There is none other commandment greater than these.

And the scribe said unto him, Well said, Teacher, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God: and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said unto him, "Thou art not far from the kingdom of God".

And no man after that dared ask him any question.

Dome of the Ascension

The Church of the Holy Ascension was taken by Saladin in 1187 and converted into a mosque and remains such today. It contains what is traditionally the last footprint of Jesus on earth before he ascended into heaven.

Two other places are claimed to be the location of the ascension. Constantine's mother Helena built a church under the modern Paternoster Church to commemorate this event. A much later tradition connects the Russian Orthodox Church of the Ascension to Christ's return into heaven.

Scripture indicates that the Jesus ascended into heaven in the vicinity of Bethany. This village is down the east slope of the Mt. of Olives about 1.5 miles (2 km). In this case, none of the traditional locations for the ascension are correct.

Babylon the Harlot

While on a website, I've seen this poster about this subject. According to this site, it states that Babylon the Harlot was Rome. I used to think this way until I thoroughly studied the scriptures. After careful study, I found it to be Jerusalem and not Rome. Here are the reasons why.

Revelations 17 NIV) 3)Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. 4)The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. 5)This title was written on her forehead: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Who held this golden cup? Israel/Jerusalem held the Golden Cup. These were the ones whom the Lord God chose over all the people. These Israelites were the Elect of God.

Ezekiel 16:9) Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil. 10)I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk. 11) I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck. 12) And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head. 13) Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.

As you can see, it was Jerusalem who was decked with gold and precious stones. It was Jerusalem where the Lord Jesus Christ was mocked, ridiculed, spit on, scourged and crucified at the insistence of the Jews. The Romans under Pontius Pilate's rule were not going to crucifiy him. They only did this at the demands of the Jews so that the Jewish people would not revolt. Before Apostle Paul/Saul's conversion to Christ, he also helped in the persecutions. The Lord's brother James was killed by the Scribes and Pharisees.

Rev 17:6)I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

If you read Matthew 23:33-39, it talks about all the righteous blood that was shed in their land and they would be responsible for it from Abel to the blood of Zechariah, whom they slew between the temple and the altar. They were killing those people who followed Christ. Also another note: God never sent prophets to Rome. He only sent them to Jerusalem.

Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10) And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short time.
Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thous sawest, where the harlot sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and (tongues) languages.

After careful study, the words in verse 15: peoples, multitudes, nations & languages are all plural. This tells me that the 7 mountains represents kingdoms, 7 heads represent kings of those kingdoms. These are the 7 kingdoms in which Jerusalem has played the Harlot with. She has played the Harlot with the Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Medo-Persians, Greeks, Romans and the Caananites. You will see alot of similarities in Ezekiel, Daniel, Jeremiah, etc...where Jerusalem played the harlot with all of these kingdoms.

To summarize everything that I've read and studied. It is Jerusalem that is known as "Babylon, the Harlot". Before Apostle Paul's conversion, he also helped in persecuting the followers of Christ. Yes Paul, Peter and Andrew were crucified in Rome, however, other disciples were killed in Persia, India and Israel. But the everyday people of the Israelites living in Jerusalem/Israel who followed Christ, they were persecuted by the Scribes and Pharisees of Jerusalem. It was the Lord God who sent his Word (Jesus) to Jerusalem/Israel whom they totally rejected and blasphemed.

OFF BEAT/Weather

I am living in Ohio practically buried with 12 inches of snow. As of right now, our county is under a level 2 snow emergency. The schools were closed Tuesday and today (Wednesday) and possibly tomorrow (Thursday). It is also very cold here as well. The temperature here is 2 degrees. That's right I said "2". Maybe I should feel lucky that I don't live in Oswego, New York. From what the News Media says, they have over 100 inches of snow. I would also like to take the time to say Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful day with that special someone in their life. Remember to thank the Lord God for bringing you that special person.

A prayer of Thanks

Dear Lord, All my life you have watched over me and kept me from harm. You have formed me from the womb of my mother and gave me the very first breath when I first entered the world and still continue breathing today with your love and compassion.

I learned many things throughout my life like learning to walk, talk, smell, touch, read, write, making friends, learning to think clear headed, to love with compassion and mercy, to forgive others, to help when others are down, and many more things that I've learned.

Lord, you continue to amaze me every single minute of the day. All of these things could not have been possible without your love and compassion. You have done so many wonderful things in my life as well as others. It is you, Dear Lord God who deserves all the credit. I would not be here if it wasn't for you. So this is my wonderful, utmost thanks to you for all of these gifts that you have brought to me.

My biggest thank you is for sending us Jesus the Christ. "He is the way, the truth, and the life." He is the "Bread of Life".

I love the Lord thy God with all my heart, soul and mind.
