Jehovah's Witness Coming To My House

2nd time trying to post this. This elderly woman who is a Jehovah's witness keeps coming to my house to try to dispute the Holy Bible. She keeps saying that our Sovereign God & Jesus Christ are not the same and that Heaven is on earth. I have to pull out my Bible and show her all these verses in Deuteronomy 18:15 , John, Isaiah, Matthew and more. She tries to persuade me that her Bible is correct. I told her to buy a new Bible and read it. She keeps persisting on coming here and I just show her the real Holy Bible and read more to her and she walks away upset. But she still keeps persisting on coming back. Why? Jehovah's Witness is a cult. It has no part of Christianity at all. How do I tell her without being so cruel and harsh? (She's an elderly lady)

Hi Sherry,

If you have a printer, go to this site and print it out and hand it to the lady when the lady returns. Ask her to go home and really take a good look at it and line it up with the Word of God. Then, if she has questions, tell her to write them down and bring them back to you to look at and answer at a later date. Might Help? Other wise you will just end up going in circles with her. While she is reading it, Pray to the Lord to open her eyes to the truth.
Just a thought.

Do you think maybe the Lord is sending this woman to me so that she may know the truth or what? She cannot make me go astray no matter how hard she tries.

Sherry,

Hi. This post interests me as I have a heart for JW's. Unfortunately, you will not persuade her and (fortunately), she will not convert you. I have had many of these in my home and believe me...they are completely brainwashed. What you can do is be very kind to her, pray for her, and ask God to put the right words in your mouth. She thinks you are the enemy, and that you have been brainwashed and trained in arguing and persuasion and she will be very wary of you. She will not read anything you give her and to her your Bible is a counterfeit. She thinks she has the only truth, and that is the Watch Tower Organization. The best thing you can do is plant seeds of doubt in her mind about their trustworthiness. Ask questions that she will have to find her own answers to...if you feel the Lord calling you to minister to JW's, research them, pray, and ask Him to speak timely truths through you as only He knows what will get to each person's heart. I have listened to the testimonies of several former JW's and they were won over by the love and kindess of Christians who planted seeds by the power of the Holy Spirit that convicted them...

Just don't argue the Bible with them. They are very good at it and you will just be frustrated going in circles. Ask wise questions...they will gladly look into anything for you if you ask them. Try it.

Oh my, see how I have rambled on. There you have my two bits from a bit of experience. Hope you don't mind. I don't even know how I got here.
Hmmm...

Oh yes, that's right. I got here from Living Journey. You know...you see a comment a blog and you go to another link and soon you are lost in the blog-forest! Haha!

You might try cutting to the chase with this woman and ask her the following:

Would a True Christian believe that Jesus is the fallen angel of the abyss? .....and.....Would a True Christian participate in a ritual where they reject the "flesh and blood" of Christ?

She most likely will answer "No" to both questions.

Then thank her for confirming that Jehovah's Witnesses are NOT Christian at all.
