On February 11, 2007 a video was released on www.Memritv.org transcipt #1385. This Satanic loving President who oppresses millions of his own people vowed to continue his "Nuclear Bombs" mission. According to transcipts, the crowd was chanting their famous slogan "Death to America". What makes this difficult for me is how many were co-erced to say this OR did this Satanic President of Iran threaten them with death if they didn't say this. It makes a person wonder since there has been no evidence that any citizen coming from Iran to live here in the United States has ever harmed, nor intends to harm anyone in the Land of the Free. I have great sympathy for the citizens still living there. They live under oppression with a force of rule.
May the Lord always guide his followers with pure love, one to another, so that we all can live in peace.

We can pray for peace, but you must remember the beatitudes. Let us first pray for the Iranian people to rise up and overthrow their government. They desparately need regime change.
I am quite positive that if that were to happen, many countries--the USA being first to step up to the plate--would come to the aid of these people. Then there would be peace. But it must come from inside.
Rosemary, I understand your viewpoints but what I'm trying to decipher is the "Death Chant" situation. Is it by force or something else?

The death chant is awful! Can you imagine the world's uprising if we here in America, had a President (dictator) encouraging us to chant something so hateful against *any* country??
People here do it just to fit in , but the younger people know nothing else and actually believe it.
Good post, Sherry. I can assure you that 99% of them would give their left arms to come to US...Some are paid and some have to pretend to have a normal life. My nephew after graduating from lawschool and passing the bar exam tried to get a job as a lawyer. They send in spies for two weeks to go around the neighborhood and intreview all the neighbors and questioning everything from his childhood on to his college years...they finally did not give him the job he had applied for because they deemed as not suitable because he wasn't Islamic enough and did not belong to certain religious organizations...I told him to sign up immediately for a religious school to become a mullah...LOL
stories like that are numerous...did you know that every neighborhood has informants spying on citizens...everyone is watched and has a file in the intelligence ministry. For government workers these demonstrations are compulsory and if you don't comply, you're identified as an anti-revolution element and you would lose your job...I can go on and on...It truly breaks my heart what these tyrants have done to this country.
LOL, you told him to become a mullah LOL Wow, I didn't even realize just how much the ordinary lives of the people are invaded. That is horrible.
Dear Sherry: I know, he was so devestated after being rejected so I was trying to cheer him up...but there is also some truth to it too. People grow beard and carry rosaries in public to show that they are pious moslems so they can get along with the authorities better when they apply for jobs or want to open a business and so on.
